Time for a new decade

It's the end of the first decade of the second millennium.
I still remember being seven like it was yesterday.
As I look back now I wonder what I've been doing the whole time.
The years, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds that have passed.
Have I spent them wisely?
I remember studying.
I remember crying.
I remember laughing.
Maybe building relationships.
Collecting knowledge.
Absorbing wisdom.
Growing.
To be who I am today.

So many mistakes made. So many lies told. So many rules broken.
Yet.
So many bridges broken. Feelings hurt. Hopes crushed.
Yet.
So many failures. Arguments. Tears.
Yet I still smile, laugh, love, thank God and is still enjoying life.
